Additional to all the features of the basic Global-Tracker, the Geo-Fenced Tracker features a Geo-Fencing and a Vehicle-Mobility Controller unit that enables the G-Track system to not only monitor various parameters of the vehicle but also control the vehicle to a finer level. Controls include immobilizing the vehicle, accelerating or decelerating, raising audio/visual alarms etc.

A user can define a boundary/fence in any geographical territory and designate the areas as allowed regions and disallowed regions. Given the geographical coordinates of any device from the GPS, the Geo-Fencing unit can determine if the device is in the allowed region, the border region or the disallowed region.

The mobility controller unit is a vehicle specific device that controls the vehicle through electro-mechanical relays, communication with the ECU over can-bus etc. The determination whether the current position of the vehicle lies in an allowed or disallowed region or in the boundary region, can be further utilized by this immobilizing unit to raise audio/visual alarms, immobilize the vehicle, accelerate or decelerate and so on.
