GMS is a custom project undertaken by ECM to develop a Wired Sensor Network comprising of up to 64 acquisition nodes each connected to up to 8 sensors to monitor the usage of specialty gases on industrial shop floors. The acquisition nodes were linked over RS485 to central logger, while several loggers were networked over Ethernet.
