The QuadCam board supports and access data from up to 4 image sensors and an audio input/output. It is able to compress this acquired data and transmit these images and audio clips over Ethernet using TCP/IP or RS485 links.

The QuadCam board also support the Compact Flash memory card, which is used to locally store the data acquired from the image/audio sensors. This stored data can be encrypted using DES (or similar) before transmission over the communication links.

The board uses microcontroller and FPGA, both are remotely reprogrammable. It also provides Ethernet switching functionality with at least two additional ports.
